Frequently Asked Questions

• Do I need any dance experience to learn?
  We teach you all the moves you need to know. It’s virtually just walking to a beat. (2 left feet not a problem)
• What should I wear?
  Neat, casual clothing and comfortable shoes....no thongs or stiletto heels please.
• What does it cost?
  We charge a weekly fee of between $5 - $9. New learners, your first night is free, followed by a 5 night special of $10.
• What is Square Dancing?
  Square dancing is danced in a square formed by 4 couples facing in and dancing to calls (learned movements) instructed by a caller. You don’t need to memorise a whole dance, just various moves.
• Can I just come and watch?
  Of course. Just talk to the person on the door and you will be made most welcome and any questions answered.
